Governance

At Bwejuu Charity School, strong and transparent governance is central to our mission of providing inclusive, high-quality education. Our Board of Trustees plays a key role in shaping and safeguarding the school’s vision, ensuring accountability, and guiding strategic decision-making.

The board oversees critical areas including policy development, annual budgeting, infrastructure planning, and the long-term sustainability of the school.

In recent years, we have strengthened our governance structure by welcoming new board members with diverse skills and international experience. This has enabled us to broaden our support network, reduce reliance on single-source funding, and build stronger partnerships within the local community.

Looking ahead, Bwejuu Charity School remains committed to continuous improvement in governance and leadership. Through external reviews, capacity-building, and succession planning, we aim to ensure lasting stability, continuity, and impact for the children and communities we serve.
